2/23 Haven't really watched the Winter Olympics but kind of glad it's over after tonight. Congrats to all the winners!
2/22 Celebrate Marie's birthday with her and her birthday crew.
2/21A very long happy hour with Danielle, Alissa, Shelby, and Paula. Love catching up with the girls.
2/20 Dinner with Mary at Olive Garden to catch up on life, work and everything in between!
2/19 Ended my day with a coworker calling me a goddess for helping him out. After the long trying day I had it was just what I needed to reenergize me.
2/18 Slowly catching up on paperwork.
2/17 TELPAS presentation at Dessau went well. All my online training is complete!
2/16 Lazy day recuperating from our fun night out with Sara, Shelby, Skylar, Cooper and Jessi. Found out Molly is expecting!
2/15 Hung out with Ms Sara Marks during her visit to Austin.
2/14 Happy Valentine's Day! Coworker valentines, dinner and drinks with Audrey and Mary.
2/13 Another beautiful day with 70* temps.
2/12 Today was a beautiful clear day after the last few cold and overcast days. And applied for another position with TEA, fingers crossed!
2/11 Another late start day due to weather. I could get use to this schedule. 😉
2/10 Delicious dinner at ShuShu's with mom. It's been too long.
2/9 Shopping with Jenn then dinner with uncle Ernest, Jayson and the Oaks. Yum, fajitas!
2/8 Saw Wolf of Wall Street and knocked off one more movie before the Oscars.
2/7 Another "ice day" holiday sans ice. Oh well, thanks for the extra day off!
2/6 Jenn and I tried Kome sushi and it was delicious and at the perfect price. Win!
2/5 Ate a lot better today! What's for dessert?! 😉
2/4 It was a beautiful day outside today as temps got up to the 70s! Love these Texas winters. :)
2/3 I have such an awesome mom! She got home before me and took at all the trash, washed dishes and got Rudy's for dinner. I'm a lucky daughter!
2/2 Super Bowl at Jenn and Paul's and got to hold cute Miss Alexis Quinn!

1/1 Morning/afternoon movie marathon with mom in our pjs
1/2 Lunch w/ Mary at Chez Zee; Drinks and bingo w/ Audrey, Mary and Caroline
1/3 Restful last day of winter break
1/4 Dinner for Jayson's Birthday at Red Robin w/ the Oaks Clan
1/5 Reorganized my dresses in my closet and put away Christmas stuff.
1/6 Sushi dinner for Sara's birthday and Grayson sang Happy Birthday to his momma.
1/7 Mom made homemade beef enchiladas and they were delicious!
1/8 Anthony liked his Christmas present he got in the mail from me. Still waiting on mom's.
1/9 Worked late tonight but am resolving to not make it a habit!
1/10 Overslept by 45 minutes and still made it to work on time.
1/11 Beautiful 70* weather in January to run errands and wash my car. Started my "running program."
1/12 Dinner for Jenn and Paul's birthday at Maggianos with Thura, Jeff, Kerey, Kristin, and Craig.
1/13 Dinner w/ mom at Red Lobster
1/14 Meetings at Dessau went well.
1/15 Made a great dinner of roasted chicken, corn, and Mac 'n cheese. Yum!
1/16 Dinner with Paula, Mary Frank, Jane, Trudy and Shelby at La Mancha.
1/17 Happy hour with Paula, Danielle, and Alissa turned in to dinner and drinks with the ladies!
1/18 Another beautiful Saturday in Austin. Ran errands and took care of some chores.
1/19 San Antonio to celebrate Grandma Gallardo's birthday playing bingo and dinner at Luby's.
1/20 Household chores and getting ready to go back to work with a crazy busy testing schedule ahead!
1/21 Homemade dinner, 2nd night in a row. Go me!
1/22 Dinner at Austin Diner with Mary Bach, Shelby, Paula, Trudy, and Jane. Dinner was ok but the company was great!
1/23 2nd day in a row wearing heels to work. My dogs were killing me but I survived! And looked cute doing it!
1/24 No school- Winter weather ice day!
1/25 Busy day of lunch for Jeff's birthday and then dinner and Cedar street for Mary's birthday with Audrey.
1/26 Brunch with Jen, Kristin and Kerey. Movie and dinner with Shelby to catch up for the Oscars. Dallas Buyers Club was great! Caught the end of the Grammy's, too.
1/27 Got home just in time to eat dinner and watch my shows for the night.
1/28 School was canceled an hour and a half into school, but we worked together as a team to get the kiddos home and safe.
1/29 Mom's interview went well so we celebrated with dinner at Casa Chapala.
1/30 Found out that they make Gluten free soy sauce. Yum!
1/31 Shopping spree at Ulta via mom's $100 gift card from AT&T! Woot woot!!!

Ah, school's almost here!

Well, school starts on Monday and I am so not ready. So goes the game! Oh well, wonder where we're going for happy hour tomorrow?! Going to try and make this year a good one!

Back on the wagon!

Alright well only a few more weeks until school starts and I've decided to get back on the wagon. I'm going to start back first with counting calories and gradually work in exercise. Going to officially start today. Let's see how far I can get!

It's almost time to go back to school/work! I had a dream last night though that I was in Vegas. Hmmm, can I sneak a trip in before school starts?!

Mom's fortune tonight...

And my new way of thinking,"Pray for what you want and work for what you need." Although, I think I already do this. And what about those things that qualify for both categories?! What questions should I be asking to figure out whether it's a want or a need? How often should I pray? Only more questions, agh!

Summer 2012

Wow, the school year went by way too fast. Thank you, Jesus! Thinking its time for change, starting with looking for a new job. At least looking to see what's out there. Wish me luck!
